INNOVATION ON AN INTERNATIONAL SCALE

Key aspects determining the innovativeness of the project result:

  • use of ozone in the washing process in the laundry tunnel,
  • use of waste heat to heat up the rinse water,
  • shortening of the washing process in the washing tunnel,
  • reduction of chemical consumption, improved lifetime of washed fabrics.

HOT WATER FROM RECOVERED ENERGY

The main goal of the developed system will be to obtain the possibility of heating water with the help of recovered heat energy up to a temperature of approx. 50°C and supplying it to the laundry tunnel. Thus, the need for direct supply of technological steam to the tunnel will be eliminated, which will improve the energy efficiency of the designed installation.

SHORTER TIME AND MORE EFFICIENT DEHYDRATION PROCESSES

The system should allow the use of waste heat to heat the rinsing water to a temperature of approx. 45°C and achieving the effect of shortening the time and improving the efficiency of dehydration processes in the dehadrating press and drying in tunnel dryers. As a result of the development and implementation of the heat recovery system, the heat energy consumption of the entire washing and finishing process will be reduced (according to gas consumption, below 1.2 kWh/kg).
